Orbis Optical Smoke Detector
59.761.02
- Orbis optical smoke detectors work on the proven scattered light principle. The measurement technology used is fundamentally different from previous optical detectors and achieves a significant reduction in false alarms.
- Responds well to smoldering fires
- Performs well with both, black and white smoke conditions
- The disturbance filter uses algorithms to reduce false alarms
- Automatic quiescent tracking with DirtAlert, a flashing yellow LED for easy identification of dirty detectors
- DustDefy system prevents dust from entering the detector while maintaining air flow
- Tested according to EN 54-7, EN 50155, EN 50121-3, EN 60068, EN 61373, EN 45545-2 (HL3)
Orbis Multisensor (optical/heat)
59.761.03
- Orbis Multisensor uses the same technology to prevent false alarms as the optical detector, but has an additional temperature sensing element.
- Responds well to fast-igniting and blazing fires.
- The disturbance filter uses algorithms to reduce false alarms
- Automatic quiescent tracking with DirtAlert, a flashing yellow LED for easy identification of dirty detectors
- DustDefy system prevents dust from entering while maintaining air flow
- Tested according to EN 54-7, EN 54-5, EN 50155, EN 50121-3, EN 60068, EN 61373, EN 45545-2 (HL3)
Orbis heat detector BR (73°)
59.761.08
- Orbis heat detector uses the same technology to prevent false alarms as the optical detector, but has an additional temperature sensing element.
- Orbis Series Heat Detector monitors ambient air temperature using a simple thermistor that outputs voltage proportional to air temperature.
- Suitable for applications for which smoke detectors would not be suitable
- Tested according to EN 54-5, EN 50155, EN 50121-3, EN 60068, EN 61373, EN 45545-2 (HL3)
Orbis heat detector CR (90°)
59.761.09
- Orbis heat detector uses the same technology to prevent false alarms as the optical detector, but has an additional temperature sensing element.
- Orbis Series Heat Detector monitors ambient air temperature using a simple thermistor that outputs voltage proportional to air temperature.
- Suitable for applications for which smoke detectors would not be suitable

Orbis standard base
59.761.07
- The Orbis Standard Base is a redesigned base that greatly simplifies installation and wiring.
- Pass-through jumper for voltage testing of zone wiring prior to commissioning.
- Detector locking mechanism
Orbis relay base
59.761.06
- The relay base includes a potential-free changeover contact for switching external devices. When the fire detector transitions to the alarm state, a voltage is applied to the relay, causing the contact to change state. The contact remains in the state until the fire detector is reset.
- Jumper for voltage test of zone wiring prior to start-up.
- Detector locking mechanism
- Switching capacity 30 V DC / 1A
