Our laundry has evolved from sleeping car service

Founded by the “Compagnie des Wagons-Lits” more than 115 years ago for the cleaning of sleeping and dining car linen, the laundry still cleans the linen of Austria’s sleeping and couchette cars by using state-of-the-art technology and complying with the highest environmental standards.

Over the years, our laundry has developed into a profit center that is appreciated by well-known hotels for its performance. The laundry is capable to process up to 1,300 tons of linen every year which are cleaned, ironed, neatly bundled and returned to their intended use.

Continuous improvement of the facilities and a motivated team are responsible for the existence and success of this division.
